  1.     Obvious Password Configuration
  2.  
  3.     You can use this module to manage user passwords and monitor user
  4.     processes. The Obvoius Password Configuration window displays a list of
  5.     users with obvoius passwords similar to the User Configuration window.
  6.

  8.     You can use this window to:
  9.  
  10.     + Modify a user
  11.     + Delete a user
  12.     + Set or modify a password for a user
  13.     + Lock a user account
  14.     + Unlock a user account
  15.     + Expire a user's password
  16.     + View a user's information
  17.     + Monitor user processes
  18.  
  19.     This window contains the following buttons:

  21.     Modify
  22.  
  23.     Click on this button to modify user accounts. One or more user accounts
  24.     must be selected from the list first.
  25.  
  26.  
  27.     Delete
  28.  
  29.     Click on this button to easily delete a user from the system. This
  30.     program will delete the user account and also (optionally) remove
  31.     the HOME directory and all of its contents (files and sub
  32.     directories) associated with the user. Highlight the username(s) you
  33.     wish to delete from the system and then click on the Delete button.
  34.     Enlighten will prompt you to confirm your action.
  35.  
  36.     Enlighten will NOT delete the users HOME directory if:
  37.  
  38.     + It is considered to be a sacred (required) directory. The sacred
  39.       directories are:
  40.  
  41.         / /usr /etc /bin
  42.  
  43.         /lib /home /dev /sbin
  44.  
  45.         /usr/bin /usr/adm /usr/lib /usr/sbin
  46.  
  47.         /usr/man /usr/lib/uucp
  48.  
  49.     + It is shared by more than one user. In this case, the HOME
  50.       directory is not deleted since this would also delete the HOME
  51.       directory of any sharing co-users.
  52.  
  53.     + It is not owned by the user whose HOME directory it is supposed to
  54.       be. In this case, Enlighten will then ask for your confirmation and
  55.       before deleting it.

  57.     Furthermore, Enlighten will not delete the root user account, this
  58.     is considered to be too dangerous to allow.
  59.  
  60.     Password
  61.  
  62.     Click on this button to change a currently defined User Account
  63.     password. You don't need to know the password. A pop-up window will
  64.     ask you to set the new password for the highlighted user.
  65.  
  66.     Lock
  67.  
  68.     Click on this button to deny a specific user access to the system
  69.     without deleting the user's account. This procedure is part of the
  70.     Enlighten security module; be cautious about who can access it. A
  71.     pop-up window will prompt you to confirm this action.

  73.     Note: You must assign a new password to unlock a user, the existing
  74.     password will be lost!

  76.     Unlock
  77.  
  78.     Click on this button to remove a lock from a user account. Because
  79.     locking and unlocking user accounts is considered part of system
  80.     security, Enlighten will ask for a new password when it unlocks a
  81.     User Account.
  82.  
  83.     Expire
  84.  
  85.     Click on this button to expire the password for the selected user
  86.     account(s) immediately. This option will only work on systems which
  87.     support password aging. The next time the user attempt to login to
  88.     the system, he or she will be forced to change his/her password. You
  89.     must confirm this option before it will be executed.

  91.     View
  92.  
  93.     Click on this button to view existing User Account information. 
  94.  
  95.     Processes
  96.  
  97.     This command displays a window of all processes currently running
  98.     which belong to the highlighted users. To view the processes,
  99.     highlight the users you wish to view and then click on the Processes
  100.     button. A window will appear displaying all processes for the
  101.     highlighted users.
